Delivery and Returns
We will aim to dispatch your order as quickly as possible.
The delivery costs for orders to a UK address are currently £3.95 (for Standard 2nd Class Signed For, 2-4 working day delivery), or £5.50 (for Expedited 1st Class Signed For, 1-2 working day delivery). Delivery costs are subject to change without notice but will always be clearly stated at the time of checkout. Please note that we cannot be held responsible for any delays which may occur after your order has entered the postal system.
From time to time, and at our discretion, we may offer Free Standard Shipping on all orders for limited periods.
For Western Europe, Scandinavia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan, USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand we charge between £10.00 and £21.00 per order, depending on the destination. We use a tracked and signed Royal Mail service so delivery times can vary depending on destination, but you should allow up to 14 days for delivery.
For delivery to international addresses not listed, please get in touch prior to ordering and we will do all we can to help.
We reserve the right to change our delivery costs at any time without notice to you. The cost of your delivery will always be confirmed at the time when your order is placed.
Items being delivered within the UK will be sent by Royal Mail, First or Second Class Service signed for, or Hermes Courier Service signed for.
At this time we only ship to the UK and those countries listed above. If you live elsewhere and would like to make a purchase please email prior to placing an order and we will endeavour to notify you of the relevant posting charges and the procedure to follow. Any customs or import duties will be charged once a parcel reaches the destination country. Any additional charges must be paid by the recipient of the parcel. Unfortunately, we do not have any control over these charges and advise you contact your local customs office for current charges before placing the order.
Returns and Exchanges
We hope you love your purchased items as much as we do! In the unlikely event that you are unhappy with your goods, please email us within 7 days of receipt of your parcel with your order number and reason for your return. We will happily refund unused items sent to us in their original packaging but please ensure that all items are returned clean, unused and have all of their tags. For hygiene reasons, we are unable to accept returns of earrings.
We will respond to your email providing an address for your return, and you'll have 7 days to return the item to us. We can only refund the PayPal account or credit card originally used for payment. Please note that we don't refund delivery charges and you'll be responsible for the cost of return postage.

For goods received that are faulty and unused, please email us at email@example.com stating the order number and nature of the problem.
If returns are damaged, soiled, washed or used the products may not be accepted and may be sent back to the customer and/or a refund refused.
We can only offer exchanges for alternative colours of the same product and all exchanges are subject to availability on receipt of the returned goods. Please identify if you would like a return or exchange on the return email.
Sand and Salt will not be liable for your returned items while they are in transit back to us, and we would recommend using a tracked delivery service for your own peace of mind.
